Meanwhile, back in Robotropolis...

Mephiles is still reclining on the throne. Abaddon appears.

Mephiles: Yes?

Abaddon: They have arrived in the Southern Baronies and rescued the Robians there.

Mephiles: Only two caches left, then?

Abaddon: Yes; the one in Downunda and the one on Platinum Island.

Mephiles: And our unwitting pachyderm pawn is moving into play, is he not?

Abaddon: Yes, my lord.

Mephiles: (chuckles wickedly) Excellent. Send some of our Greater Demons to Downunda. We can't make it too easy.

Mephiles: I think it's time I targeted my former apprentice with a few of those nightmares...

Abaddon: Might I suggest Karoth?

Mephiles: Hmmm... Of course.

Abaddon: Not as potent as our deceased former ally, but it should be enough to torment him.

Mephiles: As long as he does his task, I am content.

Mephiles snaps his fingers. Soon, a demon appears. It is skeletal in appearance, with black tendrils in the place of legs, and yellow glowing eyes.

Karoth: Yes, my lord?

Mephiles: I have a task for you.

Karoth: I await your command.

Mephiles: I want you to torment my former apprentice.

Karoth: Very well.

Mephiles: Don't restore his memory... yet.

Karoth: As you wish.

Karoth disappears. A Greater Demon, this one similar to Abaddon bot with dragon-like wings, turns to Mephiles.

Greater Demon: With the utmost respect, my lord, are you sure Karoth can pull this off?

Mephiles: If he doesn't, at least my former apprentice will be traumatized.

Greater Demon: Of course.

Meanwhile, back in Knothole...

Anubis was meditating.

Loki: You've been doing that a lot lately, bro.

Anubis: It helps me remain calm.

Suddenly, they hear a ship approaching.

Loki: Oh look, visitors.

They look up and see the ship landing. Sonic and the others disembark, followed by Robians.

Anubis: Ah, welcome back. And I see you brought back more Robians.

Loki: And, in two cases, became them.

Mecha Sally: Yeah. Again.

Mecha Fiona: We're pretty bad at this.

Emerl: Nah, it doesn't happen every mission.

Mecha Sally: But still... It's quite disconcerting.

Mecha Sally: The Southern Baronies have helped the Kingdom for generations. I couldn't bear myself to harm a close friend of my father's.

Beauregard: Sometimes, ya gotta go all-out to stop someone, if they're brainwashed. A good crack to the skull, knock 'em out, fix 'em.

Mecha Sally: I see.

Mecha Fiona: We'll have to keep that in mind.

Beauregard faces Anubis.

Beauregard: Ya seem familiar.

Anubis: My name is Anubis.

Bunnie: Uncle Beau, this gah is a god.

Beauregard's eyes widen.

Beauregard: R-really?

Anubis nods, and Beauregard drops to his knees.

Anubis: Please, stand.

Beauregard stands back up.

Anubis: Unlike many of our compatriots, Loki and I don't tend to lord our status over others... Especially after Sonic defeated Chaos.

Beauregard: I see.

Sonic: Well, I don't like to brag... okay, I do, but still.

Mecha Sally: What's this? Sonic admitting his bragging obsession?

Sonic: Guess someone's been a good influence on me.

Mecha Sally: (chuckles)

Emerl: Come on, let's get you two turned back to normal.

Mecha Sally: Right.

Meanwhile, in the Wolf Pack's hideout...

Lupe was in her room, meditating. She heard a knock at her door.

Lupe: Come in.

The door opens, and a female Mobian cat walks in. She is wearing a red figure-hugging body glove, red gloves and boots, a blue vest, and a blue neckerchief. She has black fur, a white muzzle, chest, and belly, and green eyes.

Lupe: Ah, hello there, dear.

Hershey: Hello, Lupe. I'm sorry to interrupt you.

Lupe: It's alright. Have you discovered where Lobo, Maria, and Marcos are being held?

Hershey: I'm afraid not.

Lupe: (sighs sadly)

Hershey: I'm sure they will be...

Lupe: It's been so long since my husband and children were roboticized. They could be anywhere.

Hershey: Well, I heard that Robotnik's a bit dead now, so we'll be able to find them soon.

Lupe: Right...

Just then, Lyco and Leeta enter, their eyes glowing yellow.

Lupe: Lyco?! Leeta!?

Lyco: It's okay, Lupe. We're fine. And so will you, like the rest of the Pack.

Hershey: But your eyes are....

Leeta: Open, for the first time in years.

Lyco: And he wants to open yours. Please, Lupe. You were like a mother to us, ever since Robotnik roboticized our pack.

Lupe: ... Hershey, send a distress signal to Knothole.

Hershey: You got it.

Lyco: Stop her, sister.

Leeta: Of course.

Hershey heads for the communications room, Leeta following her. Meanwhile, Lupe faces Lyco.

Lupe: I don't wish to fight you.

Lyco: Then don't.

Lyco rushes Lupe and tackles her to the ground.

Lupe: OOF!

Lyco: You'll be much happier when you submit to Him.

Lyco she presses herself against Lupe, pinning her to the ground as she places her hand on her forehead. Lupe rolls, knocking Lyco off of her.

Lyco: Ugh!

Lupe: I said I didn't want to fight you, not that I wouldn't.

Lyco: Even if you did, we'd be evenly matched. You taught us everything you know.

Lupe: Not everything.

Lyco flips over to her, but Lupe tackles her mid-flip. She lands awkwardly.

Lupe: And even then, I'm bigger, stronger, and faster than you. And you don't have Leeta helping you now.

Lyco struggles in Lupe's grip.

With Leeta and Hershey...

Hershey was already making her way to the communication room. Leeta sprints after her. Soon, she arrives at the door and opens it, and heads inside. She activates the transmitter.

Hershey: Wolf Pack to Knothole, Wolf Pack to Knothole... We're under attack! Something's gotten into Lyco and Leeta! We need...

Suddenly, Leeta grabs Hershey from behind, pulling her away from the console.

Hershey: Aah!

She puts her hands over the cat's eyes, wrapping her legs around her waist, and trips her with her tail. Both girls fall to the ground.

Hershey: Oof!

Leeta: Mmph. Don't struggle, Hershey. This is for your own good.

Hershey: No, it isn't!

Leeta places her left hand on Hershey's forehead, and it glows. Hershey kicks and struggles. However, her struggling begins to slow.

Hershey: (breathing heavily) Ohhhhhh....

She falls asleep. Leeta smiles softly.

Leeta: You will soon know His love...

Leeta struggles to stand up, and succeeds. She props Hershey over her shoulder.

Back with Lupe and Lyco, the younger wolf is trying to struggle free. She then knees Lupe in her stomach. Lupe gasps, winded. Lyco then kicks her off.

Lyco: Come, Lupe... embrace Him...

Lyco places her hands on Lupe’s head. Her hands begin to glow. Lupe struggles, trying to kick her off. Her struggle gradually comes to a stop, and she falls asleep. Lyco Smiles.

Lyco: (strokes Lupe's hair) It's okay, Lupe. You're safe now.

Leeta returns to the room, holding Hershey.

Leeta: Are you alright, sister?

Lyco: Yes, sister. How were things on your end?

Leeta: Easy... Now let's take them to our Master.

Lyco: Yes.

Lyco picks up Lupe and carries her over her shoulder. The two sisters slip out of Lupe's room, through the Wolf Pack's cave, then head for the cave leading to the cavern where they found the creature.

Lyco: It shouldn't be too far, now.

Leeta: Indeed.

Soon, they arrive and enter.

???: Welcome home... I see you've captured the remaining two.

Leeta: Yes Master.

???: Excellent. Bring them to me.

Lyco: Yes Master.

The duo takes Lupe and Hershey through the systems. They arrive in the very cavern where they found the Kroxor.

Leeta: We are here, Master.

The Kroxor emerges from the shadows.

Kroxor: Excellent...

Lyco and Leeta set Lupe and Hershey down. The Kroxor picks them up and studies them.

Kroxor: Yes... They are perfect. They will make fine Hive Queens.

Leeta: The feline managed to send a distress signal...

Kroxor: Let them come... we need more servants.

Lyco: Yes Master.

The Kroxor begins to cocoon Lupe and Hershey.

Kroxor: Go and collect more from the village.

Lyco and Leeta nod and leave. The Kroxor looks at Lupe and Hershey, who writhe and moan as their bodies are encased in the green cocoons.

Kroxor: Sleeep...

The cocoons fully encase the two women, and they drift off. He hauls them up, into the storeroom. He chuckles evilly to himself.
